Oh. My. God! I'm soo depressed! I can't believe what they have done to Narcissa Malfoy (whoever is responsible for this crime). I've been working on a story, which includes all the Malfoys since ages. In my researches I came across the rumours that Naomi Watts would be playing her. Guess whom I had been working with in my head as I've been scribbling on my script? Right, Naomi Watts. Go and take a look for yourself if you don't know how she looks like.
Now I've seen the second picture from Narcissa as she's supposed to be in the movie and I'm like wtf?!?! I don't know even where to start… The first pic is taken from the leaky cauldron:  http://gallery.the-leaky-cauldron.org/picture/219174#

Even without the image of Naomi I had pictured Narcissa to be an arrogant but elegant witch, wearing (elegant) dresses out of some flowing material. Now she's wearing some kind of tweed like… I dunno some governess or great auntie Betty. Did I mention I had the idea of her being elegant? Look at Lucius. He might be a (sexy) bastard but he does have stile. What would he do with a governess like this? All right, what's next? Well, in my head Narcissa's definitely blond. Hear me? B l o n d! What's so hard about blond? Why that two coloured hair? And I always believed Narcissa to be Draco's mother and not his grandmother. Was I mistaken there? I mean, hello? She's supposed to be around forty but heck, she looks like sixty! She looks so much older than Lucius… I think I want to sit down and cry. Maybe I should put my original on hold, write like crazy to get my story done before the movie is out. I'm afraid I'll never finish it once there are even more pictures floating around from Narcissa or after I've seen the movie.
I'm really depressed! PS: In case anyone is wondering… I'm not putting down Helen McCrory, she's just not what I had expected – or at least they did not put her in clothes, make-up and stuff that fit the picture I had. So, no offence to any fans from her.

I'm sorry you guys haven't heard from me in ages but right now I'm sitting on getting "Another Kind Of Magic" worked into an original (imagine that without all the magic *groan* all the things to be picked up by hand, no cuffs with simply waving a wand...).
I do have an old story of mine that has been sitting on my hardrive since years and which has a similar setting of someone being an apprentice and getting interested in the person teaching.
So keep your fingers crossed that I manage to weave the message from AKOM into this story and that I'm not getting sick of trying to write about BDSM in German, something that feels really weird!
So all the fanfic that is laying around in my room in heaps of paper is on hold for now. But I hope I'll be able to get back to it :o)

That's not possible, is it? I always thought LJ is going to kill me as slow as it is when I am working on a post. But at least I figured there that when I post it (for user view only) and then go back and edit the post, it works just fine.
But here when I edit a post it's only opening the "HTML" part and not "Rich text" O_o
and it's killing me when I have a bunch of text copied in there and I need ages to go from the beginning to the end - leave alone searching for something or or or...
